How to set automatic ordinal adjustment in Word

When you edit a Word document, the content is a single form, each with a sequence of numeric numbers. When you use Word automatic ordinal, adjust the order of the contents entries in it, and the numeric numbers are automatically readjusted, and when we manually add numeric numbers, the corresponding numeric numbers cannot be adjusted automatically when we adjust the order of the contents. In this case, we also have a way to let the number of manually added numbers in the content adjustment automatically adjust.

Ideas

It is mainly achieved by replacing the SEQ field. Use the substitution method, but slightly different, will be the manual number of confusion, replaced by automatic numbering to achieve.

3. The next step is important, click "Find in" and select "Main Document". You will find in Word that the manual numbering has been chosen for all.

At this point, the original sequence of manual numbering has been completely replaced by the new automatic numbering, and in the future if there is adjustment, the serial number will automatically adjust the change

This is really a good solution, with the right mouse click on the location of the tab to bring up the menu (Figure 8), from which select the "Adjust list indent" command to open the Options window, where you select "No special Annotation" on it (Figure 9).
