How to set FQDN and Hostname in Linux server

In the past, we had to set up the email system. Currently, the complete FQDN name must be set for Puppet. Different operating systems are different. View [root @ rdo ~] # Hostnamewww [root @ rdo ~] # Hostname-fwww.server110.com to achieve this effect, you need to modify the two files to edit/etc/sysconfig/ne before engaging in the mail system, this is the content that must be set. Currently, the complete FQDN name must be set for Puppet. Different operating systems are different.

Www
[Root @ rdo ~] # Hostname-f
Www.server110.com

To achieve this, you need to modify two files
Edit/etc/sysconfig/network. you need to add a line and remember HOSTNAME, which must be capitalized.
# Cat/etc/sysconfig/network
NETWORKING = yes
HOSTNAME = rdo

Edit/etc/hosts and add a line
192.168.178.2 www.server110.com www
Log out of ssh and log on again. this will take effect.
