How to set the limit of connection number of wireless router
Simple to understand: The total number of connections to the router is a fixed value (with the upper limit), if some of the computer consumption of excessive number of connections (such as BT, thunder download, etc.), may cause the rest of the computer can not normal Internet. The connection number limit function can control the connection number which the host occupies, thus balanced the network application, guarantees the smooth use.

First step, set the number of connections limit rules
1, enable the number of connections limited function
Click on the transfer Control >> connection number limit, in the function settings, check to enable the number of connection restrictions, click the settings, as shown below.
2. Add control rules
In the connection number limit rule, the custom setting name, the controlled address range selects IP Group _lan port IP, sets the maximum number of connections (such as 300), enables the rule, click Add.
Note: If you set 300, the maximum number of connections for all controlled users is 300.
Step two, Save settings
On the top left of the admin page, click Save Configuration.
Note: If the save configuration is not clicked, the configuration will be lost when the device is powered down and restarted.
At this point, the connection number limit feature setting is complete.

Q: Why is it slow to open a Web page after you set the number of connections limit features?
A: In practical applications, some of the portal home pages, the number of connections is close to or greater than 200.
If the number of connections is set very small (for example, 50), it can cause the Web page to open slowly or even incomplete. For general Internet applications, the recommended setting is 200-300.
