In the Word2013 document, the user can use the Insert key on the keyboard as the shortcut key for the Paste command, but you need to cancel the "Insert control overwrite mode" feature at the same time. To set the Insert Paste feature, the following steps are described:
Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window, and click the file → options button, as shown in Figure 2013072509.

Step 2nd, open the Word Options dialog box and switch to the Advanced tab. In the cut, copy, and paste area, select the Paste with Insert check box, as shown in Figure 2013072510.

3rd step, in the Edit Options area, cancel the use Insert Control overwrite mode check box, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2013072511.

With these settings, the Insert key on the keyboard is used as a paste shortcut and no longer has the ability to control the insert and overwrite modes.
