  Operation Steps:

1. Enable wireless network card: Please confirm that the driver of the wireless network card is installed correctly, and turn on the wireless network card antenna switch. Lenovo notebooks are mostly fn+f5 (or F4) open.

3. Set IP Address: Double-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to open the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog box, as shown in the following illustration:

There are two ways to set IP addresses: Automatically obtain and specify fixed IP, but the machines to be interconnected must have the same IP settings, and if set to specify fixed IP, the IP addresses of these machines must be set in the same network segment. It is recommended that you use an automatically obtained IP address.

4. Enable Windows Wireless Management: In the Wireless Network Connection Properties dialog box, click Wireless Network Configuration tab, and tick the check box before using Windows to configure my wireless network configuration to enable wireless network management with Windows XP. As shown in the following illustration:

5. Selected network type: Click the Advanced button in the lower-right corner of the dialog box to open advanced options for the wireless network, as shown in the following image, select any available network (preferred access point), or choose a different method depending on the actual connection, and click Close to exit.

6, add wireless network: Click the "Add" button in the wireless network configuration, as shown in the following figure:

7, set the service Settings identity (SSID): In the Open Wireless Network Properties dialog box, enter a service settings identity (SSID), such as "Lenovo", the SSID must be the computer you want to connect to or the wireless AP set the SSID to maintain consistency. If you are accessing a different computer and are not using the wireless AP, tick before "This is a computer to computer (specific) network; No wireless access point" is checked, as shown in the following figure:

If you use a wireless AP as a wireless access point, remove the check box before "This is a computer to computer (specific) network; No wireless access point", as shown in the following illustration:

Then click OK to exit, and the network name that is set appears in the preferred network in the lower part of the Wireless Network Configuration Properties dialog box, as shown in the following illustration:

8, connect the network: Because Windows defaults to connect by "Once this network is detected, Windows can connect automatically", and when a wireless network is set up in a valid range, the computer will successfully connect to the "Lenovo" network to achieve dual or multiple computer interconnection, as shown in the following illustration:

At this point, the Wireless LAN setup is complete.
