How to set up the SNMP for ESXi

Note: SNMP in ESXi does not support get and only traps are currently supported. Therefore, you cannot get the SNMP information for ESXi with the Get method.
The Vsphere client does not seem to have the ability to set up ESXi host SNMP.    I concluded that there are two ways to do this: first, use the vicfg-snmp.pl command in the vsphere CLI to configure remotely.
