We previously introduced how to enable shared folders to share data between guest and host when the guest machine in virtualbox is ubuntu. If the guest machine is windows, we can still share data using shared folders.
Click "device"> "allocate data space" in the Virtual Machine menu bar of virtualbox to create a fixed allocated data space (this data space is actually a folder on the host ). The procedure is as follows: Right-click "fixed allocation", select "Add new shared folder", click the lower triangle on the right of "folder path", and select "other ...", Browse and select the directory you want to share. Click "select.
Right-click "my computer" in windows on the guest host, select "ing network drive", select a drive letter to be mapped, and click "Browse" below ", the pop-up dialog box is shown in:
In the displayed dialog box, expand virtualbox shared folders to find the shared folder you just added. After confirming, you can access the shared folder from windows in virtualbox.
