Recently, I picked up MySQL again in the development project and encountered Chinese garbled characters when setting up the environment. I will share with you the solution below.

1. Show variables like 'character _ % '; shows all settings. Set the non-utf8 encoding to utf8.

Set character_set_server = utf8;

2. Go to the MySQL installation directory and find the my. ini file. Set Latin1 to utf8.
