How to solve the error when installing red hat linux 9.0

1. An error message is displayed when the second one is installed.

Linux Installation Guide:

 

When red hat linux 9.0 is installed with vmware7.1, the following error message is displayed on the second CD:

Cannot open the xpdf-2.01-8 package. This is because the file is lost or
The software package is damaged. If you are using a CD
It often means that the media is damaged, or the disc drive cannot read the media.

But in Windows view the CD files, there is a xpdf-2.01-8.i386.rpm, how to solve?

Solution:

VM --> Settings... --> Virtual Machine Settings

Click the hardware tab and select CD/DVD (IDE). In the connection attribute on the right,

Select use physical drive as Auto Detect (F :) to continue the installation.

1. Do Not Enable USB during installation.
Default, PS/2 for the mouse type.
2. If the setting is already USB, how can I change it?
Enter root, and then press the keyboard up or down key for activity. Select Start here (from here) and press enter ....
Select system settings, press enter, find the mouse settings, and press enter to enter the mouse settings page,
Select the 2-Key mouse (PS/2), select "simulate three-key click", and click "OK.
Log out of Linux and then log in. OK!

Attach basic keyboard operations:
Move up or down keys needless to say,
Shift + right arrow, which is an option to expand.
Use the tab key to move on the interface, and ALT + TAB to switch applications, which are the same as those in windows.
