How to solve the problem of black screen and blue screen when Win8 is upgraded to Win8.1

After upgrading from Win8 to Win8.1 through the App Store, black screen and blue screen appear before restarting the desktop, and the operating system cannot be accessed.

Cause Analysis: Some intel + AMD display card models are not compatible with win8.1 drivers.

Solution:

Method 1: Upgrade to Win8.1

1. Uninstall the display card drivers of Intel and AMD in the device manager before upgrading the win8.1 system. As shown in the following figure:

2. After completing the above uninstall steps, upgrade to windows8.1 through the App Store.

Method 2: the black screen blue screen has been upgraded to Win8.1 and the problem has occurred.

1. Press and hold the power button to keep the system shut down for about 5 seconds;

2. Press the power button to start the computer;

3. Repeat steps 1-2 three times;

4. On the recovery page, select "advanced recovery options"> "troubleshooting", as shown in the following figure:

5. Select "Advanced options ";

6. Select "Startup Settings ";

7. Click "restart ";

8. Select "5. Enable security mode with network connection ";

9. Restart to enter the safe mode. Right-click the Start menu and choose Device Manager ";

10. Uninstall the Intel and AMD display card drivers in the Device Manager.
