How to unbind a local MySQL database from Ubuntu

Problem:In Ubuntu, a MySQL account is added,Granted full database operation Permissions,And allow external connections from the database
HoweverUnable to remotely access MySQL database.

Cause:In Ubuntu, the default MySQL installation limits that only the local machine can access the database.

Solution:Unbind a local MySQL database

Nano/etc/mysql/my. cnf # edit the configuration file
Find bind-address = 127.0.0.1

Change

# Bind-address = 127.0.0.1
Ctrl + o # Save Configuration
Ctrl + x # exit
/Etc/init. d/mysql restart # restart the database

Now you can remotely connect to the MySQL database.
