Sometimes you forget the password of the root account in mysql, or the password is empty, resulting in no access to mysql or extremely low security. In this case, you need to update the password of the root account. There are many ways to change the root account password in mysql. I often use commands to modify the password. The steps are as follows:

1. Enter the mysql table in mysql and mysql.

 

2. enter the update Password statement and press enter to execute

 

3. Use flush privileges to refresh the MySQL system permission table. Otherwise, access is denied. Another method is to restart the mysql server to make the new settings take effect. The first method is used here.
