How to use fonts gracefully in app design

I have a little experience to share with you--a good font equals a mature design. Until a few years ago, web designers had not shown enough attention to fonts. Today, the field is maturing-the font boom has become a huge design trend.

Good fonts play a role in the readability of text, but more than that, it also conveys the intent of the designer to share it. It is an important part of the overall user experience. On the other hand, the lack of good fonts, the whole product is not professional performance. Text is the basic element of the main interface--if it's poorly designed, why go deeper?

The first year of local application development on the iOS and Android platforms is a horrible sight. It seems that most designers and developers have not considered the font problem at all. It is not valued, it seems very abrupt. The annoying fonts used were tasteless. It was a nightmare of design.

Today, the mobile-end design has gone well beyond the early levels, and the signs of maturity in this area have been revealed. The font is the most vivid example of it. Most of the fonts used in mainstream applications can be described as "decent". Whether it's Facebook, mailbox or twitter--, fonts look good at least. More interesting is the--2013 years, we see more and more mobile applications in the use of fonts, showing a shocking effect. Ultravisual, WillCall, Hotel tonight are a few great cases.

To be sure, in 2014 the trend will be more powerful.

The fonts in the app can no longer be ignored. The design of the mobile end is ripe.
