How to use workflow features in SharePoint

Here we assume that you have created a contract and then want to approve it through the SharePoint approval workflow.

1. Create a DOC document to use in the workflow.

2. Create a new document library contracts, temporarily do not add documents.

3. Click the Library tab, click Workflow Settings, and select Add Workflow.

4. Select Approval-sharepoint 2010 workflow, name approval. Select the check box below.

5. Click Next.

6. Add approvers, deadlines, etc. Click Finish.

7. Return to the document library and click Add New document.

8. After adding, you will find out one more column. This is a workflow because you set up a workflow when you create a new project. If you click on it, you will see a stream diagram rendered using Visio services.
