How to use the Geometry artboard toolbox

The Geometry Sketchpad drawing is the Euclidean geometry "the ruler gauge mapping" a modern extension, the geometrical artboard may draw the geometry arbitrarily, the geometric artboard Toolbox is the tool which uses most when making the courseware, here is a brief introduction to each tool's use method in the Geometry artboard toolbox.

The Geometry artboard Toolbox is located on the left side of the interface, from top to bottom: Select or drag the Object tool, Draw Point tool, Draw Circle tool, draw segment tool, Draw Polygon tool, text Label tool, markup tool, information tool, custom tool. As shown in the following illustration:

Select or drag the Object tool: The short selection tool, which allows you to select, move, rotate, and scale objects. When you click the Selection tool and move the mouse pointer to the place you want to select, the pointer arrow changes from oblique to landscape.

Draw Point tool: draws points on plot areas or line segments, rays, circles, trajectories, function images. The size of the point selection point in the Display menu.

Draw the Circle tool: After selecting the Draw Circle tool, drag on the drawing board to draw a circle, it should be explained that the geometric artboard can only draw a positive circle can not draw an ellipse.

Draw Segment Tool: Click to draw Segment tool, press the left mouse button, you can choose to draw the line, mainly including lines, rays, line segments.

Draw a polygon tool: using the drawing polygon tool, you can draw a polygon, hold down the drawing polygon tool, can eject three buttons, respectively, draw the interior of the polygon, draw the inner and edge of the polygon, draw the edge of the polygon.

Text Label tool: Mainly used to show/hide dots, lines, circles of labels or add text descriptions. Hold down the left mouse button, drag the mouse to drag out a rectangle for a penny of this edit box.

Tag tools: Primarily used to mark dots, lines, circles, corners, support handwriting, geometric annotations, and handwriting markers.

Information tool: can display the relevant information of the object, realize the holographic dynamic interaction of the text such as formula, variable and data. Click the Info tool button, move the mouse to the object, click on the object will pop up a text callout box, display the object's relevant information.

Custom tools: Supports the use of some commonly used icons or images as tools to make other images or courseware available directly.
