How to Use the svn source control service provided by googlecode

For non-fixed workplacesProgramStaff, using HTTP source control is a good choice.

Googlecode provides the Subversion server.

Create a project in googlecode, and set yourself as the owner in project members.

 

Switch to the source tab.

# Project members authenticate over HTTPS to allow committing changes.
SVN checkout https://zmud-codes.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ zmud-codes -- username pbleester

When prompted, enter your generated googlecode.com password.

Then you can use SVN client to connect to the service, note that the URL used through Client GUI does not include the above parameter, should be the https://zmud-codes.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/

Tortoisesvn is used. For details about how to use it, see the corresponding help.

 

HTTPS requires authentication. Enter the account and password. The password can be viewed in googlecode.com password.
