Step one: Turn on the Telnet function on the Windows system;

Step two: Enable the Telnet service on the Linux system.

3/then click "Turn Windows features on or off" in the upper left corner.

4/In the "Turn Windows features on or off" dialog box, check "Telnet Client", click OK, the system will be installed automatically. The work to this Windows endpoint has been completed.

Install the Telnet service by entering the "Yum install-y telnet-server" command at the prompt. Finally, complete appears, representing the installation.

2. Use the command "Vi/etc/xinetd.d/telnet" to edit the Telnet configuration file and change the disable value to No.

3. Restart the XINETD service to enable the Telnet configuration to take effect.

4. On the Linux server, open the 23 port of the Telnet protocol. Use the command "Vi/etc/sysconfig/iptables" to add the code inside the red box and save it.

5. Restart the iptables to make the firewall policy effective.
