Visual Studio 2012:


Locate the "platform" (or a similar option) under the settings, change the value from Debug.win32 to Release.win32, and then click "Project"-> "Build" (or similar option), or just click "Run". The
generated EXE files can be found in the ' bin/release.win32 ' or ' Obj/release.win32 ' folder under the Engineering folder.
Visual Studio 2013:

In the toolbar "build" → "Configuration Manager" can be changed to use Debug or release
Then click "Build" or run the project directly
Realse or Debug. exe executables are generated in the project's release and debug directories
