<! DOCTYPE> Declaration is the first component in the document, located before the <! DOCTYPE> the tag does not have an end tag!
Tip: <! DOCTYPE> case insensitive
<Meta> elements provide meta-information about the page, such as descriptions and keywords for search engines and update frequency. <meta> the tag is in the header of the document, does not contain any content. <Meta> the tag attribute defines the name/value pairs associated with the document.
Format tag
<P> label definition section
<Br> the label inserts a simple line break. <br> the label is an empty label, meaning it does not end the label.
<Blockquote> label definition reference.
<Center> labels perform horizontal center processing on the text surrounded by tags. This tag is not supported in HTML 5. Use CSS instead.
<Dl> A tag defines a definition list.
<Dt> A tag defines a project in the definition list and a role in the dialog.
Text tag
<B> the label defines the text in bold.
<I> tags are italic text. <I> tags are defined in different parts of the text and displayed as italic text. When no other elements can be used, such as <B>, <cite>, <dfn>, <em>, <q>, <small>, <strong>, use the <I> label.
<U> the label defines the underline text. This tag is no longer supported in HTML 5.
<Sub> tags can define subscript text. <Sup> you can define the upper-level text.
<Tt> the tag defines the typewriter text. This tag is no longer supported in HTML 5. Use CSS instead.
<Font> labels specify the text font appearance, font size, and font color (face, size, and color ). Do not use this element in HTML5. Use CSS to add a style to the element.
Hyperlink tag
<A> a tag defines a hyperlink used to connect a page to another page.
In HTML 4.01, <a> a tag can be a hyperlink or an anchor. This depends on whether the href attribute is described.
In HTML 5, <a> is a hyperlink, but if there is no href attribute, it is just a placeholder for the hyperlink.
HTML 5 has some new attributes and does not support some attributes of HTML 4.01.
Example: <a href = "http://www.w3school.com.cn" target = "_ blank"> W3School </a>
Image Tag
labels define images.
Example:
<Hr> label horizontal line, which should define theme changes in the content.
Image hyperlink format: <a href = "url"> </a>
<Area> the tag defines the region in the image ing.
<Map> the tag defines the image ing of the client. Image ing is an image with clickable areas.
Note: The area element is always nested inside the map element. The area element defines areas in image ing.
