Huawei distributed network automation communication solution by introducing leading TD-LTE communication technology, to help power enterprises to achieve high security and reliable two-way communication network, the network uses a small distributed base station to achieve rapid deployment under various demanding conditions. Combined with an integrated micro-core network and outdoor industrial-grade CPE, the network achieves high-speed wireless broadband communication network covering high-density areas, it seamlessly carries distribution network video monitoring and automated metering services to help power enterprises achieve efficient production. In Zhuhai, Guangdong, China and Guangzhou, Huawei has successfully deployed the first TD-LTE distribution automation private network in high-density areas in China. Compared with traditional optical fiber networks, the network construction cycle is reduced from 270 days to 66 days, and the new access cost of a single user is reduced by 75%. 10 base stations can cover more than 50 thousand distribution nodes, the coverage radius of a single station can reach 4 kilometers. It not only seamlessly carries the "remote control, remote control, and telemetry" services, but also achieves a 100% success rate of meter reading. An expert group composed of experts from China Southern Power Grid, Guangdong power grid, Guangdong communications society, and China South sci-tech participated in the acceptance. They were very satisfied with the results and the acceptance was consistent.

The project properly controlled the electricity load, improved the utilization rate of equipment and customer satisfaction, verified the feasibility of wireless distribution network automation, and strengthened the confidence of Southern Power Grid to invest in TD-LTE wireless smart power grid.
