Hyfi Intelligent Wireless Router's Internet setting method

1, open the Setup interface

Open the browser on your computer, empty the address bar and enter 192.168.1.1, click Return.

2, set the administrator password

In the pop-up interface, will prompt a "set Administrator password", namely the Hyfi router's login password. In the "Set Password" box, set the admin password--> and enter--> Click OK again in "Confirm password".

Note the problem:

(1), if the administrator password has been set before, in the browser input 192.168.1.1 Enter, in the pop-up interface, will prompt "input administrator password", as shown in the following figure

(2), if the user forgot to set the administrator password, can only hyfi the router to restore the factory settings, and then reset the administrator password.

3. Run Setup Wizard

The first time you log on to the Hyfi router's setup interface, the Setup Wizard interface will automatically pop up, and if not, click the Setup Wizard option on the left to run.

4. Choose the way of Internet

Here you can see 4 options, are: "Let the router automatically choose the Internet Mode", "PPPoE (ADSL virtual dial-up)", "Dynamic IP (Ethernet broadband, automatically from the service provider to obtain the IP address)", "Static IP (Ethernet broadband, network service provider fixed IP address)".

"Let the router automatically choose the way to the Internet" this option does not recommend that you choose, because routers often identify inaccurate, resulting in the inability to access the Internet. It is best for users to manually choose the way to surf the internet, then how to choose the way to go online? The following is detailed.

(1), PPPoE dial-up: PPPoE dial-up is also called Broadband dial-up, ADSL dial-up; PPPoE dial-up This type of broadband, broadband operators provide a broadband user name, broadband password to the user, when not using the router, you need to use the computer's "broadband connection" to dial the Internet.

Input broadband operators to provide broadband account number and password--> click "Next".

(2), dynamic IP: Dynamic IP Internet access, also known as automatic access to IP Internet, DHCP Internet access. "Dynamic IP" This type of broadband, when not using a router, just need to plug in the broadband network cable on the computer, the computer can be online.

Dynamic IP Settings: Select "Dynamic IP (Ethernet broadband, automatically obtain IP address from the service provider)"--> Click "Next"

(3), static IP: Static IP Internet, also known as fixed IP Internet. Static IP Internet Access this type of broadband, broadband operators provide an IP address, the subnet mask, gateway, 2 DNS server addresses to the user, and when not using the router, the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS provided by the broadband operator are required to be filled in on the computer's local connection, and then the computer will be able to surf the Internet.

Static IP Internet settings: Select "Static IP (Ethernet broadband, network service provider to provide fixed IP address)"--> click "Next".

5, Wireless Settings

Set "SSID"--> Select "Wpa-psk/wpa2-psk"--> set "PSK password"--> click "Next".

Note the problem:

(1), "SSID" is the wireless WiFi name, please use letters or numbers to set, remember not to use Chinese characters.

(2), "PSK password" is wireless WiFi password, it is recommended to use uppercase and lowercase + digit + symbol to set, and the password length is best greater than 8 bits.

6. Setup Complete

Click "Finish" and the router Setup is successful. When Setup is complete, the computer only needs to connect to the LAN port of the Hyfi router or extender, or you can connect to the wireless network without any setting.
