I don't know how to solve the problem when compiling the kernel. For details, refer to general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information. The problem is as follows:
[Root @ localhost linux-2.6.12] # make
CHK include/linux/version. h
SPLIT include/linux/autoconf. h-> include/config /*
SYMLINK include/asm-arm/arch-> include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410
Make [1]: "arch/arm/kernel/asm-offsets.s" is up to date.
Make [1]: "include/asm-arm/mach-types.h" is up to date.
CHK include/linux/compile. h
CHK usr/initramfs_list
Make [2]: *** there is no rule to create the target drivers/net/by for drivers/net/built-in.o ". Stop.
Make [1]: *** [drivers/net] Error 2
Make: *** [drivers] Error 2
