I had been worried about connecting to the database through JSP for two consecutive days. I don't know how many times I reinstalled mysql5.0, but I still reported various errors. Finally I tried a previous test connection file, I reinstalled the MySQL database, changed the connection port to 3307, and set the character set to GBK that can display various Chinese characters. Then the system can connect to the database normally, I have been using Java and these software. at the same time, if the character set in the JSP page is not GBK, for example, utf8, a garbled code is displayed on the page.
