To convert a partition in Windows into a home partition in Ubuntu-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information, read the following for details. Format windows partitions into the Linux format: ext3/reiserfs.

In Linux, copy all the files in the home directory to this partition.

Note: copy the directories or files whose names start with "." To the hidden files.

Then add a line in/etc/fstab to enable automatic mount of the partition as the/home directory at startup.
