IE input X Removes the text box's fork and the password input box's eye icon
Starting with IE 10, type= "text" input will automatically generate a small fork (X) after the user enters the content, allowing the user to click to clear the text that has already been entered.
For type= "password", input will display a small eye icon on the right, and the click icon will show what has been entered.
Good is good, but sometimes it will be superfluous, such as the use of JS to control the function of the time.
Simply use the following CSS code to make it easy to hide the text Delete button and the Password View button that comes with the IE browser.
::-ms-clear,::-ms-reveal{display:none;}
Where::-ms-clear is the text Clear button, that is, the fork on the right side of input::-ms-reveal is the password view button, the Password box to the left of the small eyes.
Of course, you can also clear one of them individually, which is your freedom.
