$db 2list results are db2inst1 and db2inst2.

Stop the two of them.

Install Fixpak

Upgrade instance

$DB 2DIR/INSTANCE/DB2IUPDT

Upgrading Das Instances

$DB 2DIR/INSTANCE/DASUPDT

Restart Instance

Bind Updated Packages

For each instance

DB2 Connect to

DB2 BIND $DB 2dir/bnd/@db2ubind. LST GRANT pulic

DB2 BIND $DB 2dir/bnd/@db2Cli. LST GRANT pulic

Problems that may arise

Db2start Error

Solution: Kill all processes associated with this instance,

Ipclean

Run DB2IUPDT

Db2admin Start Error

WORKAROUND: Kill all processes associated with this admin server,

Ipclean
