Implementation of power diode in MATLAB

Power diode simulation model:

The module consists of a resistance Ron, an inductance Lon, a dc voltage source VF, and a switch in series. It has two outputs (K and M terminals) and one input (a terminal ), the cathode and measurement signal output terminals of the power diode and the anode terminals of the diode respectively.

Resistance Ron: Internal Resistance of Power Diode

Inductance Lon: inductance in power diode Components

Either internal resistance or internal inductance must be 0

Forward Voltage VF: forward tube pressure drop of power diode components v

Initial current IC: initial current, usually set to 0

Snubber resistance Rs: Buffer Resistance

Snubber capacitance Cs: Buffer Capacitor

When simulating a power diode, the rigid integral algorithm must be used. Generally, the oed23tb or ode15s algorithm is used.
