There are two ways to import layers to SDE: one is to directly import them to the root directory of SDE, and the other is to create a dataset in SDE ), then, import data to a specific element set.
First case: directly import layers to the SDE root directory:

Here, lname is the iname of the source layer, inworkspace is the workspace of the source layer, and outworkspace is the workspace to export, by default, the exported layer is named the same as the source layer.
