Therefore, before placing wireless Internet access nodes or wireless router devices, we should first estimate the number of users who need wireless Internet access in a rough way, ensure that many wireless Internet users can access different wireless access devices evenly and ensure that each of them can surf the Internet efficiently.

Focusing on antenna position

Under normal circumstances, wireless Internet nodes or wireless router devices will be equipped with Internet antennas, and the antennas attached to different models of devices are also different, so the installation and debugging of these antennas are naturally different. In addition, if the antenna of the selected wireless Internet access node or wireless router device can be changed, we can also replace the antenna or add a feeder to centrally place wireless Internet access devices, at the same time, the goal of indirectly adjusting the location of the wireless Internet antenna is to increase the flexibility of wireless Internet access devices. However, please note that if the length of the feeder on the wireless Internet node or wireless router device is too long, it will also affect the running performance of wireless Internet access, therefore, we need to properly control the length of the wireless device feeder when using the antenna feeder in the future.

Device status

Wireless Internet nodes or wireless router devices usually use two power supply modes to input power to the device, one is to input power through Ethernet power supply, another method is to input power supply through an external power supply. If the location of a wireless connection node or wireless router device needs to change frequently, we should try to use a wireless connection node or wireless router device in the Ethernet power supply mode, this type of device is not controlled by the input power supply when it is positioned. It is flexible and convenient to move. Of course, if there are many power interfaces provided in the wireless LAN, you can also use wireless Internet access devices powered by external power. Wireless Internet access signals are easily blocked by obstacles during transmission. The more times wireless Internet access signals are blocked, the larger the attenuation of the Internet access signals. When many obstacles contained in the wireless Internet access environment are metal objects, the wireless Internet access efficiency of the client system will be seriously affected, the metal obstacle not only blocks the transmission path of wireless Internet access signals, but also directly absorbs the electromagnetic energy produced by wireless Internet access signals during transmission, at the same time, the weak current flow is automatically generated and directly leaked out. Therefore, once the wireless Internet access signal is blocked by a metal obstacle, the Internet access signal may be directly reduced to zero.

According to some data, even if the wireless Internet access signal passes through the brick wall within 10 meters, the client system can still obtain the ideal wireless Internet access signal strength, at the same time, wireless Internet access speed is also good; however, within 10 meters of transmission distance, if the wireless Internet access signal crosses a reinforced concrete wall, the signal strength of wireless Internet access obtained by the client system will be very weak, so the speed of wireless Internet access will naturally be very slow, and sometimes it simply cannot be accessed.

Generally, the signal coverage of wireless Internet nodes or wireless router devices is about 300 feet. If there is an obstacle near the wireless Internet access environment when we place the device, therefore, the coverage of wireless signals will be reduced. Considering that the antennas used by wireless Internet nodes or wireless router devices are usually in the full direction, wireless signals can be transmitted and broadcast within the range of 360 degrees, therefore, we should try our best to place the wireless device in the center of the LAN and ensure that there are not too many obstacles in this location. Of course, client systems in many wireless Internet access environments may be scattered in multiple different rooms. At this time, when we place wireless Internet nodes or wireless router devices, try placing it directly at the intersection of multiple different rooms. I believe that all client systems in different rooms can obtain ideal wireless Internet access signals.

Focusing on external interference

Wireless Internet access signals are also vulnerable to interference from other radio signals during transmission, especially when using devices in the same frequency band as wireless Internet access nodes or wireless routers, therefore, before placing a wireless Internet connection node or a wireless router device, we need to evaluate the signal interference environment and check whether there is a signal interference source nearby. If there is a wireless signal interference source, we must avoid the signal interference or remove the signal interference source in advance when placing wireless Internet access devices.

For example, if a user places a wireless Internet access node or a wireless router device directly near a high-power household appliance such as a microwave oven, it is found that as long as the microwave oven device works, wireless Internet access may lead to various types of online disconnection failures. After the microwave oven is disabled, the wireless Internet access status of the client system can be temporarily restored. Through observation, we also found that the transmission speed of wireless Internet access is not very stable whenever a user communicates with a mobile phone near a wireless Internet access device, this is mainly because wireless Internet access signals are affected by mobile phone communication signals.

When there is a strong electric field or strong magnetic field in the vicinity of a wireless Internet access node or wireless router device, we should find a way to remove these sources in time, ensure that wireless Internet access signals can be transmitted in a stable online environment. If the operating frequency of wireless Internet access devices is the same as that of other signal sources, we can try to log on to the wireless Internet access node or the background management system of the wireless router device, adjust their operating frequency to eliminate interference from other signal sources.
