Step 1:
Press Ctrl + R and enter Regedit to enter the registry.
Find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ View Source editor \ editor name"
In the window on the right, double-click "default" and change the path in the box to "C: \ WINDOWS \ notepad.exe ".
Close the registry, open the website again, and view the source file.
Step 2:
If the View Source editor item cannot be found, perform the second step.
First, go to the Registry and find the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer" location.
Align with Internet Explorer right-click New View Source editor item, then align with View Source editor right-click New editor name item
At last, find "default" in the right window and double-click it to open c: \ windows \ notepad.exe,
Finally, remember to open a new ie window and then browse the Web page. The above settings will take effect.
Based on the above two methods, the second method is actually a supplement to the first method. Because it cannot be found, creating a new one is equally effective.
