The sap hana database is the core of HANA and memory database. It supports standard relational database features. It can also be converted to an analyticdb view.
Supports the SQL Script Programming Language.

Data replication methods for SAP HANA

The replication mentioned here should be integration, and support:
* Trigger-based replication-SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT)
* ETL-based replication-for example, SAP BusinessObject Data Services, Oracle GoldenGate is not supported
* Extractor-based replication-SAP NetWeaver BW exclusive
* Log-based replication-Sybase Replication Server

Comparing the replication methods

• Trigger-based replication-supports a wider range of source systems and real-time replication, mainly for SAP source systems
• ETL-based replication-the most flexible, quasi-real-time, and more complex conversion, mainly for non-SAP data sources
• Extractor-based replication-non-real-time, based on SAP NetWeaver System
• Log-based replication-the most real-time replication, but only supports Unicode encoding source systems. Not all table types are supported. The supported source databases are limited.
