In Win7, how does one disable automatic system updates? (370R4E Series)

When Windows Update is enabled, many system Update packages are automatically downloaded and installed on the computer. The Update takes up time at startup or shutdown, which not only occupies network and system resources, it will also lead to a long wait. If Automatic update is not required, we can disable it.

The procedure is as follows:

1. Click the Start menu and select control panel ].

 
 

2. Select Windows Update on the control panel ].

 

3. Click Change settings on the left ].

 

4. Find [important updates ].

 

5. set important updates to never check for updates, and then click OK at the bottom.
