The sharing settings of WIN7 are different from those of XP.
The operations are as follows:
I. Host settings
1. First install the WIN7 printer driver. Disable the system firewall.
2. After the driver is installed, click the network option of the host desktop.
3. After the network is turned on, select to change the advanced sharing settings.

4. After entering, select enable network discovery and enable file and printer sharing.

5. Go to the control panel and find the printer icon.
6. Right-click the printer icon, select print properties, and select share settings.

II. Client settings
1. Click start to enter the host IP address in the search program and file.

2. Right-click the printer and select Connect.

If you cannot implement shared printing, follow these steps:
1. Go to computer [Devices and Printers]-click [add printer]-[add network, wireless or Bluetooth printer]-click [next ].
2. automatically search for shared drivers in the network. You can directly select a printer that is not in the list. Click next, select "share printer by name", enter "\ Host computer IP \ share name", and click "next". The driver is automatically installed and the settings are complete.
