In Windows 7, even if the user is in the administratos group, the Administrator does not have high permissions. When you open a folder, a message "You are not authorized to access this folder" is displayed, therefore, the simple method is to switch from another user to the administrator user.
However, if you switch directly, the user configuration file (desktop, ApplicationProgramSettings, etc.) will not change. Can I use administrator to log on, but will the user configuration be consistent with the previous user configuration? For example, I want to use the Administrator account, but I want to use the David Hsing configuration file.
The answer is yes. You only need to modify it in a simple way.
First, log on to the Administrator and obtain the SID of the administrator under the command line (if you do not understand what the SID means, please refer to it separately ),
Open the registry and locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/profilelist.
Find this Sid and change the ProfileImagePath item on the right to the user configuration directory of the previous user.
After the restart, log on to the administrator account, and all user configurations will be changed to previous users. Simple and Convenient.
