In Windows 8, how does one install a new font?

1. If you have prepared the font, you do not need to download the font. Otherwise, you can search and download the font from Baidu.

2. Find the font and download it to your computer.

3. Now we extract the downloaded or prepared fonts.

4. Now, start the operation. Press win + x on the computer to open the menu and select "control panel", as shown in the following figure.

5. As shown in the following figure, open the control panel window and select a large icon, as shown in the following figure. (you can choose not to adjust the panel display mode based on your interests)

6. Click "font" on the panel, as shown in the following figure.

7. Now, you only need to copy the horse font to this directory to complete the font installation.

8. Open word to test the font. You can also test other software. If the font is found in the software, the installation is successful.

Tips: If you use software such as dw, ps, and word, if the font cannot be found after the font is installed, restart the software to view the newly installed font in your software.
