Insert background music in WPS Office2007

Text editing is a tedious and arduous task. Especially in the face of the lack of angry document editing software, it is really boring how boring. In order to make such a dull day interesting, we introduced the method for WPS text to add background color and background pattern (the WPS Office2007 Insert watermark and change the background color), below, we further, for WPS text plus background music bar.

Simple method: Insert Object method

It's easier if you just want to play music while editing a document. In the current document, select Object from the Insert menu, then select "Create by File" and browse through the button to find a favorite music file (such as "Meet You Is my fate. mp3", as Figure 1), OK exit, double-click the music icon in the document, you can call the default player to play.

This approach, though convenient, is not automated. Each time you need to manually start the background music, do you want to have a "fully automatic" playing background music? Then go on and look down.

Perfect effect: Using VBA controls to implement

To use the VBA control in WPS, you must install the VBA environment on the system. As for how to install, the forum provides a number of methods, you can go to search.

When VBA is installed, the Control Toolbox is called in the view → toolbar, and the Control Toolbox toolbar appears in the toolbar area of the WPS (Figure 2).

For the sake of perfection, let's go to the "header and footer" State from the View menu and click on the rightmost button "other controls" on the Control Toolbox. and select the Windows Media Player control from the Drop-down list. At this point, the mouse pointer becomes a "cross" shape, position the mouse pointer over the document header, press the left mouse button, drag out a rectangle, release the mouse, and a player object appears (Figure 3).

Right-click the Player object, select Properties from the right-click menu, and bring up the Properties Settings panel (Figure 4).

Click on the "Custom" item with the mouse, a button with an ellipsis appears on the right, and clicking this button pops up the Setup Panel as shown in Figure 5.

Use the Browse button to locate the background music file after "file name or URL". In select mode, select invisible (not visible), and in Play options, check Auto start (so that when the document is open, the music will play automatically), enter "99" in the play Count or a larger number (so you can keep playing), and then click OK to exit.

Click the exit Design mode button on the left-hand side of the Control Toolbox, and the beautiful music slowly floats out.

Finally, you exit the document, and the next time you open the document, a security warning will pop up as shown in Figure 6. Let's click "Enable Macros", the document opens, and the wonderful music floats out again!

If you want to start the WPS text on the background music, use this method to modify the default template document (NORMAL.WPT).
