Install Duck Launcher for Ubuntu 14.04 and later versions.

Duck Launcher is an open-source docker Dock and application starter. It is written in Python and Qt and is suitable for the most popular Linux systems, this allows you to easily open your favorite files and folders and start applications.

Duck Launcher has a menu search bar and an integrated file manager to open the file. Applications can be organized into groups and directories for ease of use. In addition, "Star" is an extension of the somekind file browser and an application initiator, allowing users to select any application, file or folder and add it.

Install PPA. Open the terminal and run the following command:

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: the-duck/launcher
Sudo apt-get update
Sudo apt-get install duck-launcher

Uninstall command:

Sudo apt-get remove duck-luncher
