Install Enlightenment 17 in Linux SUSE

SUSE Linux has two main desktop environments: Gnome or KDE. Which one do you think is better? This is not an accurate question. It depends on your needs, choices, and may be appropriate for your personality.

But do you want to use E17 in SUSE?

1. First, we need to add the installation source! I added two!

Choose "YaST Control Center"> "software"> "installation source" from the menu, and click "add FTP,

1. Select FTP as the Protocol,

Server Name input: ftp.suse.com

Directory input on server:/pub/suse/i386/10.0/inst-source-extra

Select "anonymous" for authentication"

2. Select HTTP as the Protocol,

Server Name input: packman.iu-bremen.de

Directory input on the server: suse/10.0

Select "anonymous" for authentication"

Click "OK" and "finish ".

2. Choose YaST control center> Software> software management.

1. Select "Search" in the filter and enter Enlightenment and press Enter. Several software packages will appear in the right window for you to choose from (select all ).

2. Click the "accept" button in the lower right corner to display a dependency package Prompt window. Click "continue!

3. Take a break and the system will automatically install E17. After you have a cup of tea, log out and select "Enlightenment" in the logon session ".

3. Repeat the second item. You can easily install MPLAYER!
