Install Oracle 10 gwindows in Windows 7

It was really good. After a few days of running-in, I felt quite good. I started to install the required software.

Of course, the Oracle client is needed.

The version is 10 Gb.

Pay attention to two points during installation.

1. Modify
$ Instance_dir/stage/prereq/DB/refhost. xml
Add the following
<Operating_system>
<Version value = "6.1"/>
</Operating_system>

In this way, you can check the installation. However, the first step of the installation process will cause errors.

Step 2
2. Modify the attributes of setpup.exe and modify them. This is self-made.
$ Instance_dir/setup.exe right-click Properties

Select compatibility

The installation is successful.
