Install Sogou Pinyin Input method under Linux

1. Installation

The following command completes the installation:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:fcitx-team/nightlysudo apt-get updatesudo Install FCITX

If it goes well, the installation is finished, but I have the following error:

 while processing:   sogoupinyin

Reinstall after executing the following command:

sudo apt-get install-f  

2. Configuration

By default, the keyboard default input method is IBUs, which is now changed to FCITX. The steps are as follows:

When you enter system settings in the Application Search box, a shortcut icon like aliasing appears, double-click to open as follows:

Open language support, it will automatically update for a while, and then go to the following interface:

Change the ibus inside to FCITX and click "Close" to finish.

3. Restart Ubuntu, in the application search Fcitx, will appear a Penguin fcitx configuration, smooth words Sogou automatically added to the Input method list.

If not, click on the "+" number below to add it yourself.

As with Windows, CTRL + SPACEBAR is Chinese and English switching, very convenient.
