Install VMware Tools on a virtual machine

Why install VMware Tools?

1) Go to the desktop and find the compressed package

2) create a folder under/root and decompress the package to this folder.

[[Email protected] ~] # Tar-zxvf/root/desktop/VMwareTools-9.6.0-1294478.tar.gz-C/root/"VMware Tools "/

[[Email protected] ~] # Ls/root/"VMware Tools "/

Vmware-tools-distrib (installation directory)

3) view the Installation File

Bin Doc etc files install installer lib vmware-install.pl (Installation File)

4) Installation

[[Email protected] vmware-tools-distrib] #./vmware-install.pl (always press enter by default)

5) restart the system to view the results.
