1. Install git dependency Package

Yum Install GCC Perl-extutils-makemaker

2. Delete existing Git

Yum Remove git

4. Download git source code

Switch to your package file storage directory

Cd/home/lnmp

Download the GIT installation package

wget https://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/git-2.8.3.tar.gz

Unzip the GIT installation package

tar -zxvf git-2.8. 3. Tar . GZCD git-2.8. 3

Configuring the Git installation path

./configure prefix=/usr/local/git/

Compiling and installing

 Make  Make Install

5. Add git instructions to bash

Vim/etc/profile

On the last line join

Export path= $PATH:/usr/local/git/bin

Make the profile effective immediately

Source/etc/profile

6, to install the complete, check the git version number

Git--version
