Install LibreOffice 16.04 in Ubuntu 17.10, 18.04, and 6.0 using the PPA

The LibreOffice office Kit came to version 6.0 a week ago. Now it is made LibreOffice Fresh PPA in Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 17.10, and Ubuntu 18.04.

Although LibreOffice provides the. deb binary file for download on its website, we recommend that you install the PPA software package that is well integrated with Ubuntu Desktop.

How to install LibreOffice 6.0 in Ubuntu through PPA:

Use Ctrl + Alt + T keyboard shortcut to open the terminal, or search for "terminal" from the application initiator ". To enable this function, perform the following operations:

1. Run the command to add LibreOffice Fresh PPA:

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: libreoffice/ppa

Enter the password (no visual feedback is provided when the password is entered). Read the terminal and output the PPA description. Press Enter to continue.

2. Then, after checking for updates, you will see the available updates in the Software Updater.

The LibreOffice upgrade process may be blocked. If so, run the following command on the terminal after adding the PPA:
