Install MySQL and Python library MySQLdb in Ubuntu
1. Install the MySQL server and client

Run the following command:

Sudo apt-get install mysql-server-5.6 mysql-client-5.6
Sudo apt-get install libmysqlclient-dev libmysqld-dev

Ii. Install the MySQLdb library in Python

Run the following command:

Sudo apt-get install python-pip
Sudo apt-get install python-dev
Sudo pip install mysql-python

Verification Method:

Go to the Python command line interface:
Import MySQLdb
If no error is reported, the installation is successful.
