Install TCP/IP network communication protocol for ASP

Because ASP is usually run with WEB servers, and WEB servers usually need to install the TCP/IP protocol. However, the TCP/IP protocol cannot run independently. Therefore, you must use the network adapter. However, if you are a standalone user, and you do not want to buy a network adapter, but want to run ASP, you may need to lie to a computer. Take WINDOWS 95 as an Example
1. After "dial-up configuration adaptation" is installed, the system automatically installs "Microsoft Network Customer", "Network customer", and "IPX/SPX protocol ",
"NETBEUI"
2. Install "TCP/IP protocol"
3. Set the "TCP/IP protocol" attribute and specify the IP address, for example, "128.175.1.17" and subnet mask "255.255.255.0"
4. restart the computer
Install WEB Server
If your operating system is Windows 95/98, install PWS on the Windows 98 installation CD, or download it from the Microsoft website.
If your OS is windows nt 4, install IIS4 in nt option. If your OS is WINDOWS 2O00, install IIS5
If your IIS version is earlier than 3.0 or your PWS version is earlier than Windows 98, you need to install ASP software.
If you use IIS4.0 or PWS4.0 or a later version, the ASP3.0
