Indicator Netspeed is a Ubuntu software used to display network traffic for software uploads and downloads. The software integration supports the Unity panel.

You can add PPA for installation in Ubuntu 14.04.

PPA is available and easy to install. Open the terminal and run the following command:

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: nilarimogard/webupd8

Sudo apt-get update

Sudo apt-get install indicator-netspeed

After NETSPEED is successfully installed, log out and log on again. The software is automatically started on the Unity panel.

Run the following command to uninstall NETSPEED:

Sudo apt-get remove indicator-netspeed
