Install Ubuntu9.04 on the hard disk and retain one-click recovery

4. Download The livecd of Ubuntu 9.04and obtain the vmlinuzand initrd.gz files under the casperfolder, as well as the entire. disk folder.

5. Add the boot entry to menu. lst of GRUB to point to the extracted Linux kernel.

6. Restart the machine, go to GRUB in the Windows boot menu, and go to the GRUB boot menu to install ISO in Linux.

7. Start to install Ubuntu. In Step 7, install the Boot manager in sdaX (Linux-installed partition) instead of hd0. Otherwise, the MBR will be damaged, and the Restoration function will disappear.

8. re-enter the LiveCD temporary system to/boot/grub/menu under sdaX. in the lst file, find out how to direct to the official Ubuntu operating system kernel item and put it in the GRUB for DOS menu. lst.

9. restart the computer and enter GRUB in the Windows boot menu. In the GRUB boot menu, you can find the official Ubuntu portal.
