The starting operating system is black and white screen DOS. As the cursor flashes and gradually moves back, a single command is entered into the computer and related commands are executed to complete the task. Gradually, windows operating systems were originally DOS-based WINDOWS 9X kernel windows 95, WINDOWS 98, and windows ME until windows nt technology emerged, WIN 2000, win xp, win vista, and WIN 7 are generated until today.

1. Install win7

Windows 7 does not support UEFI boot only because the operating system earlier than Windows 7 does not support UEFI, because the display card driver does not support the compatibility of the CSM module. Therefore, for the sake of security and compatibility, we usually choose the BIOS as LEGACY, and the primary partition as MBR.

Installation Method 1 (U disk startup and installation)

Download the win7 installation image. We recommend that you use the 677408 version of the original image, which is stable and pure and suitable for daily use.

 

Use the ULTRAISO software to open the image file, click Start, and write data to the disk. Select a USB flash drive, click Enable, and write it to the hard disk master boot MBR.

 

 

Set BIOS startup mode to LEGACY

 

Installation Method 2 (PE start installation)

Download U boot or old peach, etc.

Create a USB flash drive preparation Tool

 

 

Find the system and put it in the USB flash drive.

The portable f2 or f12 depends on the type of the personal computer. You can access Baidu on your own,

The desktop is generally F12 based on the corresponding model.

 

Do not start immediately after the system is restored. There are two key steps.

Restart the system and let the computer automatically install the necessary drivers.

2. Win10 + GPT Installation

Because the system Windows has already been selected as LEGACY, you need to switch the BIOS to UEFI before installing WIN10. Correspondingly, the hard disk partition table is upgraded from MBR to GPT.

Download the WIN10 installation image. We recommend that you use the original image version 9056935.

Set BIOS startup mode to UEFI

Go to the WIN10 installation page

 

This step is critical. format the system disk and delete all partitions to restore it to the status of a new hard disk. click Next.

 

 

 

The hard disk completes the conversion from MBR to GPT, automatically creates three partitions: recovery, ESP, and MSR, and installs the WIN10 system.

 

For the conversion from MBR to GPT, someone may use DISKGENIUS for manual conversion. However, I have tried to find that after manual conversion is completed, you must manually create the corresponding recovery, ESP, and MSR partitions. Otherwise, the WIN10 system cannot be installed. To securely, easily, and quickly convert the partition format, we recommend that you delete the partition and automatically create all partitions by installing the system.
