Install Windows Mobile development tools

Finally, the tool was installed. In order to write programs for Windows Mobile systems, you need to install the development tools in the proper order. Otherwise, the tools may not be available.

Installation sequence

1) install mobileappdevtoolkit.exe for the mobile device program. For the latest information, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/ityity/thekit. from here, you can associate the latest program and package downloaded.

2) Uninstall all vs. Net items in the machine first. For more information, see the description after mobileappdevtoolkit.exe is installed.

3) install activesyncand msasync.exe;

4) To use C ++ or VB for pocket pc2002 or smartphone2002 development, install Embedded Visual tools2002 edition, Pocket PC 2002 SDK and smartphone 2002 SDK, go to the next step if you do not need it;

5) if you need to use C ++ to develop a program under pocketpc2003, you need to install Embedded Visual C ++ 4.0 and Service Pack 3;

6) If you want to use C # Or VB. NET to develop a program under Pocket PC 2002, Smartphone 2003 or Pocket PC 2003, you need to install Visual Studio. NET 2003;

7) If you want to develop a program under pocketpc2003, install the Pocket PC 2003 SDK and Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 sdk.exe.

8) If you want to develop a program under smartphone2003, install the Smartphone 2003 SDK and Microsoft smartphone 2003 sdk.exe.

9) to install a simulator under pocketpc, you need to develop a simulator for that version, which can be divided into Chinese and English.

10) to install a simulator under smartphone, you need to develop a simulator for that version and install it in Chinese and English.

11) install the development resource package of Windows Mobile 2003 second edition, Microsoft. NET Compact framework extends sp2.exe
