first, the installation and configuration of virtual machines

1. Installation of VMware

Download vmware-workstation-full-12.5.0-435239 Install the package, open the installation package and keep the next step until the installation is complete.

2, the configuration of VMware

(1) Open VMware, open the Edit menu, locate the Virtual network editor, open. 1.1

(2) Find VMnet1 only host mode, the network IP to change to the IP you want. 1.2.

(3) Open the homepage, point to create a new virtual machine, choose typical 1.3, finish the next step.

(4) Choose to install OS 1.4 later and finish the next step.

(5) The client operating system selected Linux, version selected CentOS64 bit, 1.5, finished the next step.

(6) virtual machine name write the name you want, location write the location you want to install, finished next, 1.6.

(7) Change the maximum disk size to 200G, choose to store the virtual machine as a single file, 1.7, finish the next step, click Done.

Second, Installation and configuration of CentOS

1. CentOS the installation

(1) Ready the image of CentOS: Centos-6.7-x86_64-bin-dvd1.iso.

(2) Open the Edit virtual machine settings, 2.1.

(3) Select CD/DVD this line, the connection chooses to use the ISO image file, finds the image file which you already downloaded: Centos-6.7-x86_64-bin-dvd1.iso, finished click OK. 2.2

(3) turn on the virtual machine and select Imstall or upgrade an existing system,2.3.

(4) the OK and skip options appear, 2.4. The OK option is to detect the image file if there is a problem, skip is skipped, if you are afraid of the image file problems, choose OK.

(5) Choose Next (Next), language select Simplified Chinese or English, next, keyboard select American English, Next, device select Basic storage device, next, pop up a warning, 2.5, choose whether or not according to your own situation.

(6) host name can be changed, next. Time Zone Select Shanghai, Asia, next. Set the root password, next. Depending on your situation, choose which type of installation,2.6, next. Select write modifications to disk.

(7) Select some additional software, the general server chooses Minimal (minimum) installs. 2.7

(8) wait for the installation to complete and restart the installation. Enter the user name root and password, 2.8.
